Ingredients

  • 1 spoon jam
  • 1 ½ oz bourbon
  • ½ oz grenadine
  • ½ oz lemon juice
  • 1 spoon chopped dates
  • Few dashes of aromatic bitters
  • Pinch of each of fennel, fenugreek seeds and chilli flakes

Steps

  • Heat up a pan and slightly roast the fennel, fenugreek seeds and chilli flakes till untill you smell the aroma. Be careful not to burn it. This process helps bring out the flavous.
  • In a coctail shaker, add ice and all ingredients including the roasted spices.
  • Shake well and serve in a glass filled with ice.
